US Exporting the AI Stack
The White House launched the Tech Corps, an AI-focused technical service within the Peace Corps.
Instead of traditional development volunteers, the Tech Corps will deploy engineers and STEM talent abroad to provide last mile support for implementing the American AI stack inside partner nations. The focus is practical deployment across energy, education, healthcare, manufacturing, transportation, and agriculture.
This is more than foreign aid. It is infrastructure diplomacy.
AI adoption is increasingly geopolitical. Countries are not just choosing models, they are choosing ecosystems. By embedding technical talent directly on the ground, the US is aiming to lock in standards, software layers, and long term strategic alignment. Implementation is the bottleneck in global AI adoption and the Tech Corps is designed to win that layer.
The AI race is playing out in public services worldwide and America just moved to export its stack at scale.
